SOC Received the 11th Award for Exceptional Corporate Tax-filing Performance

In December 2025, SOC was honored to be visited by the Director of the Shiba Tax Office and to receive the 11th Award for Exceptional Corporate Tax-filing Performance as a model taxpayer.

This program recognizes companies that have maintained excellent business practices for several years, have filed their tax returns and paid their taxes properly, and are expected to continue doing so in the future.
The tax authorities certify these companies, and the director of the tax office in charge pays the visit to express his respects to the company.
In the Shibaura Tax Office, which handles a number of companies that rank among the top two in the country, very few companies have been the receipient of this prestigious award 11 times.

Our main product, fuses, are designed to protect circuits and cut off accident currents.
Their performance is based on how they break, and trust from our customers is essential.
This philosophy is deeply rooted in the management philosophy of our founder, Hiroo Arikawa, and we always strive to ensure that there are no omissions or errors in any aspect of our operations.
Being recognized as a model taxpayer is of paramount importance as the foundation of our company.

Since the 1st award in 1973, the environment surrounding us has changed significantly due to technological innovations, changes in industrial structures, and increased competition.
Despite these challenges, we have been able to reach this point without ever posting a loss, thanks to the efforts of our employees both domestically and internationally, and the support of our customers and shareholders.
This is a great achievement that we are both greatful for and proud of.

We will leverage this pride to forge new paths and continue to be a company that contributes to the safety and security of society.
