SOC Achieves a ‘B’ Score from CDP in 2025

Since 2022, SOC Corporation has been disclosing our climate performance through the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP).
In the assessment of our 2025 disclosure, same as the previous year, we were honored with a ‘B’ Score, the highest rating in the SME category.

Our Tochigi and Akita factories are both powered entirely by decarbonized electricity.
Switching to green electricity at these main manufacturing sites has reduced our overall GHG emissions (Scope 1 and Scope 2) by well over 60% from the base year.

In our latest CDP disclosure, we highlighted that we have begun preparations to calculate the product carbon footprint (PCF), quantifying the CO2 emissions at individual product levels in line with the internationally recongimzed calculation standards set out in the Catena-X Product Carbon Footprint Rulebook.

As we move forward, we remain committed to advancing our sustainability initiatives and delivering a positive environmental impact.
