SOC registers with SBTi and CDP as part of our climate endeavors

This year, for the first time, SOC submitted data to SBTi (Science Based Targets initiative). On October 17, we received the approval for our reduction target from the SBTi Secretariat. The approved target is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by at least 42% compared to 2021 levels by 2030.

On October 8, we completed the data disclosure registration with CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project). We have been participating in CDP over the last three years, since 2022.

There are already approximately 6,400 companies worldwide that have had their targets approved by SBTi and approximately 23,000 companies that have disclosed information with CDP. As a member of the global community, SOC will continue to actively contribute to climate change mitigation initiatives.
